Performance Specs 2022 Jeep Cherokee
Something that will never change is the excellent performance provided by the pair of engine options offered by the Jeep Cherokee, including the 2022 model. The base powertrain is a naturally aspirated 3.2-litre, V-6 engine attached to a nine-speed automatic transmission. It will produce 271 horsepower 239 pound-feet of torque. Jeep also provides a turbocharged 2.0-litre, inline four-cylinder engine on some 2022 Cherokee trims, which also uses the nine-speed automatic transmission, making 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
The 2022 Cherokee puts all of the power it creates to good use. All 2022 Cherokee models without the automaker’s towing package will be able to tow 907 kg (2,000 lbs.), regardless of which engine is equipped. The standard V-6 engine can pull up to 2,041 kg (4,500 lbs.) when properly equipped. Customers choosing the 2022 Cherokee with the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine can add the available towing package to get 1,800 kg (4,000 lbs.).
Standard Technology
Connectivity with outside devices is a requirement for a modern automobile to be successful. Jeep is making its Uconnect 4C infotainment system standard equipment on all trim grades. That means all future 2022 Cherokee owners will be able to interact with their vehicles through dynamic, high-resolution touchscreens as well as access both the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto suites of applications. A high-speed 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot is also available to all 2022 Cherokee owners.
This barely scrapes the surface of what is available with the 2022 Jeep Cherokee. If you would like to learn more about its available features, make an appointment with a Southside Dodge product expert today for a test drive.
