Grand Caravan: From Dodge to Chrysler
The Grand Caravan looks a little bit different in 2021, primarily in name and badging. Don’t worry, it’s the same Grand Caravan you’ve loved for decades here in Canada, just under a different brand and built similarly to the Pacifica. The Dodge Grand Caravan of yesteryear is now the Chrysler Grand Caravan! Being that it’s switched from one of our FCA brands to another, you can be assured of its same quality, durability and performance, just now with a fresh Chrysler look. The legendary minivan option lives on as one of the defining vehicles of its segment, a Canadian exclusive that you can find for sale in Red Deer at Southside Dodge Chrysler!
Grand Caravan in Canada, Voyager in the U.S.
The 2021 Chrysler Grand Caravan is exclusive to us in Canada by name, as the U.S. enjoys their own counterpart of the minivan, but which goes by the Voyager name (and originally existed under the Plymouth nameplate here in Canada). A few things have led to this change from brand-to-brand and with the difference of names between the two countries. Dodge, as a brand, is moving forward with an even heavier focus on the performance side, led by the quartet of the Charger, Challenger, Durango and Journey. The Grand Caravan name has remained here in Canada because of its extreme popularity over the decades. A landmark family minivan that provides the perfect vehicle for everything from loading up for hockey practice to exploring Canada on an epic road trip. Canadian built (in Windsor, Ontario) and primed for life in Red Deer, the Grand Caravan comes with a new brand name, but with all that you’ve loved before.
Design & Features
It’s no wonder why the Grand Caravan has been so popular over the years in our home country, given its comprehensive features and ability to satisfy every driver and family need out of a vehicle. It all starts with incredible versatility, the Stow ‘n Go system and customizable seating allowing you to mix-and-match the perfect combination of comfortable space for passengers with loaded cargo. While it’s functional on the inside, it does that on the outside, too, with the Stow ‘n Place roof rack and doesn’t forget about style thanks to its aerodynamic body design and gorgeous lighting tech. Capped off with convenience options for the driver, entertainment options for the rear passengers and safety and security features that allow you to drive with confidence with your loved ones on board.
For 2021 and its name-changeover, a small change on the trim levels available has gone into effect as well. The entry-level Canada Value Package is gone on the new edition, now leaving two trim levels to be the prime focus in the Grand Caravan. Available is the SE, starting at 34,532*, and the popular SXT trim, starting at 36,332*. The SXT provides upgrades over the SE, highlighted by 17-inch Tech Silver aluminum wheels, second-row bucket seats (with in-floor storage, body-colour door handles and more! No matter which trim you choose, the Grand Caravan lineup provides a comprehensive minivan at an exceptional value.
